RUBBER ORANGE
Rubber Orange EP
1991 Zest Communications
Notes:
Amazing single from obscure early 90's Manchester indie band Rubber Orange. Band was formed by the members of late 80's indie band The Jerks. They released one single ''Rubber Orange EP'' on their own label Zest Communications.
Band members were Lee 'Drany' Dransfield (guitar), Warren Wrigley (bass), Andy Price (drums), David Gill (keyboards) and Lee Severin (vocals) who came from another great Manchester band called Too Much Texas. One of the members of Too Much Texas was Tom Hingley from Inspiral Carpets.
After Rubber Orange, Lee Severin formed britpop band Jubilee and released two singles on Silvertone Records.
01. Sun Shines Down On You
02. Shining Path
03. Shut Down The World
04. N.E. Groove

Hi, thank you for this and for all the other stuff you recently published. There are three more Rubber Orange songs on Spotify.
Last but not least, when and if you can, please re-up The Jerks - 4 Track Demo 1989 & Demo 2. I don't find where and if I stored them!
Renato, i've planned that three Rubber Orange tracks for posting before or after New Year, together with some few other rarities, previously not posted on the blog.
I have that Jerks demos, i wil repost them when i find my copies.
Hi, any news about the (re)posting of the Rubber Orange/Jerks stuff above? Meanwhile thank you for the Guernica lost album!
