I was a fan of The Waltones and was lucky enough to see them on three occasions in Brighton. The first time was at the concord when they supported The Darling Buds.I believe there album and singles are as good as the Smiths at there very best. Have you had any luck in finding the Candle Stick park album. Also, i spoke to Andy Wake a few years ago and asked him about waltones demos. He gave me an e-mail for James Knox, lead singer, but sadly James never got back, Andy told me there are a number of demos available and a tape of the Candle Stick Park album but whether they'll ever see the light of day he didn't know.
No, i'm still looking for Candelstick Park unreleased album. I found James Knox on facebook, maybe i will try to ask him if he have copy of the album.
