Airhead (formerly Jefferson Airhead) is a British indie-pop band that achieved some success in the early 1990s, at the tail-end of the Madchester music movement.
Forced to change their name from Jefferson Airhead due to its (deliberate) similarity to Jefferson Airplane, Maidstone band Airhead achieved minor UK chart success with singles “Funny How” and “Counting Sheep”. After releasing one album and a handful of singles, they were dropped by label Korova and released their final record, the That’s Enough EP on Mother Tongue. They are probably best remembered for “Funny How”, which although not their highest-charting single was played heavily on BBC Radio 1 at the time of its release.

Love this song! Being an American I have a question - was it the single version or the album version that got radio play?
Love this! Never heard this back in the day. Anyone have the album? Can't buy it in Canada...
Good to hear this. I first saw Airhead (possibly still Jefferson Airhead, as their amps had that stencilled on them), supporting Voice of The Beehive, at Queens Hall in Edinburgh ('91?). Sufficiently impressed that we went to see them subsequently headlining in a small club in Edinburgh., Still sound good.
Top song, i don't know which version got radio play, probably single version, maybe some of UK readers of my blog can remember
I think i've posted their album on the blog, here is link :
