I used to go every year to Abbey park. It was Leicester's summer music event alongside the Caribbean carnival. Everyone piled in and much fun was had by all. Everyone was outraged when they started charging to get in. First, it was a quid , then two and then a fiver. As you can imagine it soon became less popular and eventually disappeared. Shame . But HBM were always a laugh and a constant through those years. Good lads.
