THE SEERS
Psych Out (US Promo Mixes)
1991 Relativity
Notes :
One of the most obscure records and long time on my wanted list, finally is here. Great madchester influenced single by these psychedelic indie rockers from Bristol, UK, and great baggy remixes by Carl Segal, released only for US market.
Huge thanks to my friend Craig for sending me this top quality vinyl rip and making available these obscure remixes for other people on this blog.

GREAT! Used to read about these guys ca 1987 or so in UK mag Bucketful of Brains, and found their first 45 "Lightning Strikes" in Australia, of all places, whilst on holiday.....their first lp "Psych Out" remains a firm fave of mine, tho second lp "Peace Crazies" was markedly not as good, imho.....congrats on tracking this down finally!!!
was it worth the wait?
Definitely worth the wait, i always loved these US promo releases, there is always some extra mixes that can't be found on UK releases. I found this 12" promo vinyl at one great online record store in USA, purchased copy and here it is.
Jim H, i love first album "Psych Out", i played second album few times but i didn't like it, too.
please could you re-up? thanks
odd that this was only for here in the US, i don't think I EVER heard ANY Seers song on radio, even with the tons of college stations here in Boston!!!!!
