Was this the mixes the band hated? I remember reading once that some record label remixed some of their early work for the US market and the band basically disowned it, even going so far as to not putting 'Bang' on their best of's as they felt it was a terrible choice for a single.
Actually, one of these "There's No Other Way" remixes was mixed by the group themselves, I can't remember which one. It's also called "The Blur Remix" off the UK 12" I think?
Yes, it was the "MindWarp Mutations" remixes that they hated, which I can understand...though I like them due to nostalgia. I had that promo 12" back in 1992! Hahaha.

If i remember well Mindwarp Mutations remixes are really good. Maybe Blur hated them because their US label released these mixes without band approval :)

Yes, it was "Bang" single and US remixes that band hated, that's i've also heard.
I'm not sure why because "Lesisure" and singles released from this album was best material they ever recorded.
