a great one, thanks! i didn't quite understand this one when it came out.....i bought the single, and having loved their more XTX-esque output just before this, was a little take by surprise, but it really sunk in, and the "Astronauts" lp is still a favorite!
I agree with you Jim, great single, Dreaming is one of my favourite tracks from The Lilac Time and from early 90's period, fantastic track produced and remixed by Hypnotone.
I bought this with a bunch of bargain bin 12" singles in the early 90s, possibly before I even realised it was Stephen 'Tin Tin' Duffy behind The Lilac Time and more because of the Hypnotise remix. It remains one of my favourite singles, though seems a little out of place on "Astronauts" (which I also love). In the notes for the latter's reissue, Duffy seems a little disparaging about the remix, which is a shame. Best wishes, Khayem
