The Jennifers were a short lived indie rock band from Oxford, formed of vocalist Gaz Coombes, guitarist Nick Goffey, drummer Danny Goffey and bassist Andy Davies. "Just Got Back Today" was their only one single released on Nude Records and it was very influenced by Ride and Oxford indie rock music scene. Shortly after releasing this single they split up, Gaz and Danny continue their songwriting partnership and formed Supergrass.

good post ricky i also have this on cd5 i gotta look for it!! hey do you remember a band called "manifesto"!!?? an indie band in the early 90s.
Manifesto - i've never heard about this band. New name for me.
I have an early EP by Manifesto, I'll have to look for it. Saw them at the WHFestival in Annapolis, Md, years ago when the Charlatans were the headliners. Probably 1991? Bought the Manifesto CD there and they signed it for me. They were great live, but from what I can remember I wasn't too impressed with the CD.
