Slowdive - 5 EP

SLOWDIVE
5 EP
1993 Creation Records

Notes :
The most electronic Slowdive ever got. The burgeoning ambient techno scene in 1993 was too much for them to resist, and made them one of the most experimental of the 'shoegazer' bands from England. Released with the equally amazing remix EP featuring the now classic chillout retake by Tom Middleton & Mark Pritchard. Absolutely essential.

The Fall - Telephone Thing

THE FALL
Telephone Thing
1990 Cog Sinister

Telephone Thing was lead off single from 1990 album ''Extricate'' and could have been seen as a nod to the Madchester scene of the time as the sound is quite similar to the dance-influenced music that was being released by Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses. Produced and remixed by Coldcut, great stuff.

02. British People In Hot Weather
