Loved Revolver. Their debut album was pretty wonderful and much more than just another generic Shoegazey thing. The tide had turned on them by the time it came out though and they packed it in.
There were touches of almost 'Pet Sounds'-y instrumentation on 'Cold Water Flat' but 'Wave' was my favourite track - ironically, a soaring, whimsical piece of Shoegazey loveliness.
Thanks for your comment. Great blog you have. Revolver was amazing band, i love everything they released. Vocalist Mat Flint now have new band called Deep Cut. They are good but not like Revolver.

Their cover of Strawberry Switchblade's 'Since Yesterday' (on the b-side of 'Venice') is worth checking out too.
